Mike has a new Blog...

We have been revamping several elements to use more current technology in our communication.  This forced a move to Mike's new blog address:

We encourage you to check it out.  This will give you a good detailed overview for what God has been doing here in Antigua.

What's been going on...

These last several months have been consumed with many renovations in the church, passport stamps, moving into the church offices, church life, building and serving communities... things that make you say - "i'm tired".   This past fall Nancy and I celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary, Nancy's brother passed away, she returned to the states to spend time with him and her family then returned to GUA with Matt and Ali when they came to visit

Our lives continue to mesh, at times inseparable, with the activities of IDC.  Mike's work in the National Police of GUA is ever expanding in addition to growing a staff that is incredible (more so because of God, not us).  Nancy continues her hospitality serving in church leadership with Women's Bible Studies and cooking for the short term teams as IDC continues to host teams that come to GUA.  This past year we saw as many 300 persons coming to make things happen to contribute to the lives of others - just since July - Eagle Baptist - Intern Lindsey - South Tulsa Baptist - Calvary Baptist, Winterhaven - Sacred Heart University - 727Warehouse - just to name a few.

And God has been faithful through all of this.

What's the plan...

This next year we are excited with anticipation of what God is going to do through the IDC.  In the church, we have tooled up staffing to accomodate our planned 420 persons coming for a visit with our International Teams

We are opening a new door in the back of the sanctuary to better ventilate and accommodate the additional 75 chairs giving us total of 350 seat capacity.

Last fall we expanded into a satellite class in Pastores in addition to our Antigua location for our English as a Foriegn Language Ministry.  This was so successful that we plan to continue now with the two locations.

We are preparing for our first annual Chaplains Training Conference for the National Police of GUA - with the help of International Police Chaplains

In our Celebrate Recovery ministry, Giovanne's wife Barbara is now officially leading the women's portion of this ministry.  On the drawing board are plans for a new Rehab Center.  Please pray for this, the need is critical and the possibilities are endless.

Funding is needed...

This past year has seen many successes.  The down side is that for us we have seen yet another significant drop in our personal support level.  We invite you to prayfully consider partnering with us financially.  If this is something you wish to do Click Here and follow the instructions.  Pathways Community Church, our sponsor church, has a mechanism that will get you started electronically.  Create a proile and help us out.
